Another New Eaterie

Not Olde Towne, but still Portsmouth.

The Hometowne Diner has opened at the old home of Rodman's Bones and Buddies, next to the BP station across from Maryview (Bon Secours) Hospital. More details and menu later. Here are some pics from the first day. Looks like we have a winner!

Black awnings to be added next week.

Here's Misty with my fav.

Cheese omelet, buttermilk biscuits with a hint of bacon flavor and garitz
Hmmm. I just remembered; I forgot to ask for salsa.

Miss Betty made sure my cup stayed full.
Have you ever had too much caffeine? Me either.

Pulled Pork Barbeque (ENC style) hushpuppies, potato salad, fried okra, coleslaw and sweet tea.
Dang, I forgot the baked beans.

I was just informed that this pie won 1st Place just last night. I can see why!

 Sunday Breakfast - Overstuffed Omelet

Sara puts the finishing touch on my banana pudding.

Manhattan Skillet
Scrambled Eggs over a bed of Hash Browns and Bacon, topped with Cheese.
