New Ride

Been a while and a lot of stuff has gone down, but this is a quick post and one of merit. New ride. Up from a 1964 Schwinn Typhoon. If we can ever find new tires for the Schwinn, it'll be used for a backup.
* Just found this on the Internet >
Schwinn 26 Inch Middleweight bicycles from the 50s, 60s and 70s used a wheelsize that is the same as more current 650C triathlon and small adult road bikes, but the tires are not interchangeable. The Schwinn S-7 tires use a fractional width measurement (e.g. 1 3/4") instead of a decimal width measurement (e.g. 1.4" or 28mm).
Well, that explains a lot. Wish I had known sooner. Anyway, the correct replacement is on order.
Meanwhile ....

BTW, the tires are actually the same size.

I wonder if I can make the Team? Maybe I'll just volunteer to be the photographer.
I'm sure there will be lots of action.
