Grand Illumination

Tonight is the night for the Norfolk Skyline & Downtown Grand Illumination and Christmas Parade. They are expecting more than 100,000 spectators. If it's like it is now ( 0500 ), 30 degrees and a 26 mph wind, I think I'll just stay at home and watch it on the tee vee. Those poor people in the bands and the balloon handlers and the majorettes in those short skirts and skimpy . . . hmmm. On second thought, maybe if I bundle up real good . . .
Above is a pic of what it looked like from my side of the river last year.

Clyde...lovely image. It's really nice to see a city celebrate an old fashioned Christmas! And I love your vantage point. The reflection on the river is awesome!
